At Somya Goyal, our designs are characteristic of our passion to bring life to the inanimate. We create detailed pieces that wearers can live with and explore and get familiarized with over the years. To create such unique personal pieces, we question the established rubrics and conventional rules of design and explore the unknown.
Curious and unafraid to experiment, we constantly develop and innovate techniques and surface textures with new materials like metallic wires, horsehair sheets, and jute and cotton cords. Our tactile explorations with recycled PVC cords, which we have used since the beginning of our journey, have now become a brand signature.
We experiment with textures and highlights to make the usual functionality fun. Atypical materials are used as textures and embroideries, and even to create composite textiles in distinctive colours and ombrés. Through a multi-faceted and multi-disciplinary design approach, we navigate freely, explore, and create to find our way so that you too, are inspired always.
